The Clock
A shmup that lets you take control of a clock's hands.
Time is a ressource and everything is time.
This is my first attempt at a jam and also my first complete game.
You can turn the hour hand by popping bubbles or doing full clockwise rotations.
Every 12 hours you can choose one of 12 upgrades.
This will also increase the level, generating more bubbles with more hp.
I added a feature of touching bubbles merging into one with combined hp.
Numbers like health and level are shown implicitely as dots at the position of the correlating number on a clock.
It might start too easy and get too hard fast, so please excuse the balancing.
I wouldn't call it a pixel-art game because this game doesn't contain any art whatsoever (no sprites), as everything drawn on screen is circles, lines, and text.

Super original concept- I thought that was really cool. However, I didn't really understand what I was doing or why. As in, I was shooting the circles, I didn't really understand what the different colors meant, nor the red and blue dots on the edge of my clock. Like you said, the balancing was confusing- is there no winning? It felt like I went into an endless mode at the end that just kept getting harder until I lost.
The different bubble colors were just to have the game more colorful.
The red dot is your health (normally 3, that's why at the right of the clock). The orange dots on the bubbles are the analogue health counters on the bubbles.
The blue dot is the level you're on, so you need a full rotation of it to get all items.
Yeah, it basically is like an endless mode. I felt like the objective is to get all 12 upgrades, but nothing in the game really tells you that, except subtly for the item selection not opening after that.
